ARE YOU STILL SITTING ON YOUR PROPERTY?

Moving? Down Sizing? Up Sizing? We make sure your house is ready to sell!
|
The home selling market is a tough nut to crack in these uncertain
times; and a “great” first impression is a “long” lasting impression with
potential buyers and that is everything to realtors and the home
owner. Creating curb appeal sets your house apart from the others
and is the key to getting your home noticed as potential buyers drive
around the neighborhoods to find their perfect place to live. Curb
appeal invites potential buyers to take a closer look, curb appeal is the
look and feel you get from the outward appearance of your home and
property. It’s a first impression to what’s to come inside and with a
good curb appeal presence; you set the stage for an inviting place to
call home.

THE 5 STEPS TO SELLING YOUR HOUSE!
Finding The best Real Estate Agent
Interview real estate brokers to obtain the names of their agents and experience level.
Generally, the prior year home sales for each agent is available, upon request.
Remember, though, the best agent for you may not necessarily be a $2 or $3 million
producer. An agent with lower sales numbers may have more time to promote the sale
of your home than an agent that is managing numerous listings
Creating Affordable Curb Appeal
Beautiful fencing and neatly mowed lawns is a great asset when it comes to curb appeal,
home value and stylish definition of your house and neighborhood. Curb appeal will
decrease the amount of time your home remains on the market, thus saving you
thousands of dollars in mortgage payments as well as receiving the offer you want.
Some “affordable and simple” aspects to consider when working your curb appeal:
• Neat and Classy Lawns, a neatly mowed lawn with edging and trimming
• Trimmed hedges and pruned trees and shrubs
• Weeding and freshly mulched beds
• Freshly power washed Fence, Deck, Driveway, Walkways and Siding
• Splashes of color around the entryway (either in the flower bed or in plant containers)
• Clear and large house numbers, neat mailbox and outside porch and patio lights

Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Open houses
The professional real estate community appears split on whether it's a good idea to hold
open a house for sale; although, I don't really understand the negative thoughts.
Common sense says it's smart to expose your home to the largest number of buyers, and
getting buyers inside to preview a home is a huge hurdle to jump.
Assuming your home is presentable, spotless from top to bottom with a manicured yard,
power washed fence, deck, driveway and walkway, priced correctly and located in a high
traffic area, I can think of no reason not to have a Open House and a Successful Open
House at that.
Step 4
Accepting the Offer
Step 5
